Today is a special day for the Tacoma Hockey Community. Please give your attention to the lobby side of upstairs. We want to officially welcome the Sid Chaloner Family.
Today, we want to recognize a long-time contributor to youth hockey here in the Puget Sound Area. Sid Chaloner has shared the game of hockey with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Sid Chaloner is affectionately known to family and their teammates as “Papa Sid”.
Long before Time to Score, Sid has been a fixture at youth games around Puget Sound as a scorekeeper and/or timekeeper.
Going forward the scorer’s area at the Tacoma Twin Rinks will be known as the Sid Chaloner, “Papa Sid” Scorer’s Box.
Thank you to the entire Chaloner family for sharing Papa Sid with our Hockey family. Thank you, Sid, for your support of youth hockey.
